Celebrate the 37th Anniversary year online
We hope you are all well, staying safe and trading again after the lockdown.
Just a quick catch up to let you know what is happening this weekend as far as the Brecon Jazz Weekend is concerned. You know that the physical event is postponed until 2021 but the following is happening in a virtual way and online over the weekend the festival would have taken place:
Brecon Jazz Club – The Jazz Club will be staging a Virtual Brecon Jazz Festival via this link for all the Jazz aficionados.
Its free to view all weekend and features not just acts but talks based around the ticketed Jazz concerts the Jazz Club would have staged in Brecon over this weekend. Its free to watch until the end of August and has been funded by Brecon Town Council and Friends of Brecon Jazz.
Brecon Jazz Weekend ONLINE
We will be sharing memories and images / video from the past years across theoutdoor stages, The Fringe, The Frazz Parade from 12 noon and 5pm on the Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August. This is the link for Brecon Jazz Weekend Online The Event Page and if you want to post pictures or tag yourself into any posts for yourself or even your business / page please feel free to do so and we will post it during the times stated. You can also forward anything you want posted to us and we will add to the schedule.
We will be posting links to the fringe venues and if you are a venue and have anything you wish to share or advertise as we assume some of you have only just opened, then please send over or post as this is also to help you get exposure on a weekend you would have been busy.
Any business from the previous Brecon Jazz Weekend Guides will be posted over the two days, but if you want to send us some advertising or memories to showcase please feel free to do so or post onto the event page yourself.
We hope you join us to celebrate online what would have been the 37th Anniversary Festival Weekend and we look forward to seeing and working with you all for the 38th Anniversary Weekend 2021 – Friday 13th to Sunday 15th August.
